Admission to the PhD Programs
Applications are invited for the admission to the Doctor Philosophy (PhD) programs in the following Departments:
Engineering:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Material Science and Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Psychology
- Economics
- Management
Minimum Qualifications :
- Engineering: M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc.(Engineering) degree with first class or equivalent in the respective or allied areas. Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Master's degree in Sciences in an allied area with exceptional academic record and possessing a valid GATE score may also apply.
- Sciences & HSS: M.Sc./M.A. degree with first class or equivalent in respective or allied areas with a valid GATE/UGC Net/CSIR JRF/NBHM score.
